How often should my pet be groomed?

Most pets are placed on a 4 to 6 week schedule, although some pets are groomed weekly. To determine the best schedule for your best friend, however, we must evaluated each pet on an individual basis. Your pet's coat type, physical condition, age, temperament, type of trim, and the life style of your pet must also be considered. For example, if your pet spends a lot of time at the lake or in your swimming pool, typically he/she will require a more frequent bathing and brushing schedule to maintain the coat than a pet that spends most of its time lounging on the sofa.

When should I start getting my puppy groomed?

We recommend starting the grooming process as early as 6 weeks, or as soon as your veterinarian recommends that it is safe to socialize your puppy in public spaces. It is very important that you begin this salon socialization and grooming procedures as soon as possible to allow for your precious pet to become accustomed to the salon environment and the basic grooming procedures such as nail trimming, ear cleaning and brushing. How long will it take to groom my pet?

The average time frame allowed for grooming your pet varies from 2 to 4 hours, but may take longer, depending upon the size of your pet, the amount of coat, temperament, the physical condition and of course, the type of trim style. This time frame includes at least one break so that your precious pet has time to relax in our comfortable holding area and a chance to drink some cool water.

For example, pets that arrive between 7:30am and 8:30am are usually picked up between 12:00pm - 12:30pm. However, if you cannot be without your precious pet for that length of time, just let our salon team know so that we can give you our Express Grooming Package. If you are a Priority Pet, you can receive this Express Grooming Package each time you come in.

How much will the bathing, grooming and styling cost?

The overall price of the grooming for your pet is determined by such things the breed, size, temperament, physical condition, coat condition and the type of trim style that you would like on your best friend. On your first visit with us, you will receive a personalized evaluation of your pet with one of our salon team members to determine your expectations and what the total cost will be.
